Jordan Schuman is a multimedia journalist at WPDE in Florence/Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Originally from Long Island, New York, she started her journey in television in the summer of 2010 at the University of Miami's pre-college program. She was hooked right there, and decided to go on to major at UM in Broadcast Journalism with minors in Psychology and Teaching and Learning.

In the past 3-and-a-half years at UMiami, Jordan has covered the visits of two presidential candidates, entertainment television hosts Andy Cohen and Jason Kennedy, author and columnist Arianna Huffington, CBS Corporation CEO Leslie Moonves, television host Lisa Ling, MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow, former Secretary of State and First Lady Hillary Clinton, and a healthcare press conference with former HHS Secretary Donna Shalala, along with the daily happenings in Coral Gables, FL. She also served as a writer and co-anchor of NewsVision, the University of Miami Television's flagship evening news, and NewsBreak, a daily 90-second web-only update. On UMTV's executive board, she served as the Assistant Station Manager during her Junior Year.

Outside of the studio, Jordan was a Resident Assistant in Hecht Residential College for two years, and has interned with CBS Entertainment, NBC News and CBS News throughout her college career.

When not working as a journalist, she enjoys listening to country music, grabbing a nap when she can get one, shopping for shoes far too often, and always a cup of coffee to start the day.
